Counterfeiting of products

Everyone please see attached on how counterfeit products sell in the market (especially in public
Places like stations, parks, markets)

Many illiterate consumers Nd many even literates one fall for this.

Can we discuss some solutions for this and get Govt to act so they dont reach the consumer after violating trademark law. more

Thank you, but then why are we even allowing plastic mineral water bottles? Water was intended by nature to be free, so who are these multinational companies to bottle a natural resource, that they access and use rapaciously? Plastic is ending up in landfills leaching back into the soil as a contaminant. Harvest rain, and recharge groundwater. This could be the lesson learnt from such counterfeiting which starts with market determining production. Decentralise harvesting and centralise allocating production of products that use up natural resources, just as cooperative dairy movement revolutionised milk production. more
This is a common feature of marketing duplicate products in India's busiest location like Bus stand and railway station. Passengers are in hurry all the time and hardly notice it instantly. I had seen such practices in various states in northern region. Govt. agencies are unable to keep a vigilance on such practices as one can witness such incidences in little bit small towns where there is an acute shortage of manpower. Manufacturers are also unable to keep a check on it. more
There is a fake product for any famous product here since they want to confuse the customer by using similar words and also same labels etc to dupe the public we have to extra vigilant more
On the one hand over laws on counterfeiting or spurious products are not strong and on the other hand enforcement agencies have many corrupt hands who are hand-in-glove with the dealers of such products. more
