Courier agents not delivering at home
Courier agents are not delivering couriers at home and are asking delivery's to be picked up from their center. This behavior is being adopted by more and more courier agents now. What can a consumer do to report these. The complaint calls to the call center also doesn't get to their representatives and instead are automated responses. more

In Mumbai we have hardly come across this type of issue. On the contrary, Post offices are quiet far, where as Courier companies are available in most of the streets and is nearer to for place. They are quiet efficient also although bit costly, but you save on transport for going to Post Office. more

I could never repose my confidence on any of the courier services. I found the 'SPEED POST' of the IndiaPost to be much economic, fast and overall reliable. more

Please avoid courier services as far as possible. People have misplaced faith in them. They only cater to Offices and clients with large mail service as they can't avoid delivery there. Filing complaints, receiving satisfactory reply or otherwise approaching consumer forum are time and energy consuming processes. India Post is still the best for slightly far off localities. more

Many courier agencies do this and give lame excuses. There are so many sub-agents who delivers in remote areas and these people mostly play this nasty games. We pay extra for courier so that it gets delivered to our houses. If they refuse to deliver, then register a complaint with their head office. For sure nothing is going to happen. Afterwards, register a complaint and case with the consumer court. Nowadays, the service of the Indian Post office is far better than many of the courier services and it is assured delivery or they atleast try to contact you if there is a mobile number. more

Courier agents do not deliver. they will just write house closed. They must give SMS for their approximate arrival time. Also not the computer phone number but the number, name of delivery agent must be given. This will help in coordinating wiht the delivery pers and improve efficiency besides preventing double or triple visits most of which are fake. Besides now a days in gated complex the name and number of visitor is required for allowing entry. Once pre approved entry the courier will also not waste time in waiting at gate for approval for entry. more

These days Post office Registered Letters and Speed Post is more reliable and cost effective. One can easily track the movement of your letter/ Parcel. Try this. more
