Courier boys used by Amazon

Are coming with couriers very late after 10:30 pm, calling like mad (8 missed calls this morning) and then cancelling the orders (because customer wasnt available at odd hour when they decided to show up) 3 days in a row. Will sto ordering at amazon. Dont want waste of time and harassment. more

Delivery service was very good for some years. It has deteriorated recently. Some courier boys don't do door delivery. They call us to take delivery from them from a location convenient to them. more  
We are regularly making online purchase from many suppliers and you call it luck or otherwise, we have never faced such a situation so far including near past. more  
Please take the following into consideration. 1. The courier boys appointed by all courier companies are poorly paid and are required to deliver a minimum number of items in a day. They have to work late hours also. It is quite likely that some customers are located at the end of the route and so they go there so late. Non delivery can surely happen due to this reason. 2. This is common to all the companies. A few years back, I purchased a mobile phone from Flipkart. 3-4 days later, Flipkart cancelled the order and refunded the money. I had to make the purchase again. I came to know the reson later on. The delivery boy had opened the packet and stolen the phone. 3. We make plenty of online purchases from different suppliers and luckily have never experienced any difficulty so far. I had an ocassion to write to Amazon customer care and found the response satisfactory. Another lucky experience. more  
Can always call or chat online in case of unsatisfactory delivery service. more  
Delivery timings should be 9 AM to 7 PM. Delivery boys have no business to give a call thereafter. Request that the Amazon management introduces some discipline in their system. We as Senior citizens will discontinue to purchase on line from Amazon if we are to be disturbed at wrong hours. Let this be an advance warning. more  
from first cry I purchased and paid in cash for 3 diapers, when i opened i find 2. next day courier came to deliver 1 diapers and demanded full money again. I refused , Now first cry says i got one diaper when I got diaper, they also say i paid for 1 diaper when i paid for three. It is a mystery for first cry and they cant find the solution as to where money and item has gone more
