Court reprimanded Center, Delhi govt
Happy Dussehra everyone. Looks like Mala your message in the circle reached the High Court. It told center and dekhi govt that “You don't want the people to breath3@e in the Ravan as well. You must regulate it. Else why 10,000 effigies... Come up with a regulation that you can have it only in a certain designated area of a specified size. There has to be some regulation," the court said.
The air today looks bad already. Boycott going to ravan burning events or burning your own effigy. Delhi, Noida cant afford this. more

No need for courts to intervene in each and every matter. It is the duty of government to look into these issue. Courts. Instead courts can utilise its time in judicial work and reduce pendancy. more

And, killed about 60 onlookers from the railway crossing on Amritsar line, the addiction of the Ravan burning chemicals in the environment made them unconscious of the approaching train with lots of noise and whistles. This is certainly not the fault of the railways, but of the organisers who were so close to the railway track and the police management of the crowd or of the volunteers. more

Its a different matter that we are on match to Ravan's integrity, character and knowledge and hence cannot take the place of Ram. That said, we have logic of convenience.. While apposing pollution on a minimal scale once a year, we happily travel in 3000ltr diesel engine vehicles., Or use AC with blankets and are proud of the wastage. Let's not rob the poor of basic entertainment and motivation to serve us, lest the start robbing us. more

Ravan must be having his last Laugh in Punjab. Jaatey Jaate - 60-70 ko saath le gaya aur 75 ghayal hai woh alag. I am shocked how people switch off their brains just to go and see somebody who made a fool of them by taking not just their Votes but also their Lives. There is going to be inter-state wrangle as Railways have already washed off their hands off the incident stating the people had trespassed Railways property illegally and could be prosecuted too. Though tragedy took place in Amritsar (Punjab), majority who died were U.P & Bihar Laborers - though Punjab Government announced 5 Lakh compensation for each Dead....they may ask the State Government of UP & Bihar to bear it as these States could not give jobs which resulted in migration of workers. Center as also PM are unaffected by the tragedy...no doubt they will cry and show sympathy in election rally's but for now...neither compensation from Center nor a word of sympathy for families of those who died in the tragedy.
