COVID-19 - Say no to car sharing if possible

Like restaurant and multiplex, a shared car is a setting where COVID-19 can easily spread.

If for some reason, you can’t avoid sharing a car with another person, there are certain precautions the CDC recommends taking:

Try to only share a car with someone in your “bubble” who you would normally be spending time with anyway.

If using a car service, such as a taxi or Uber, sit in the back and put as much distance between you and the driver as possible.

Avoid using the recirculated air option for the car’s ventilation, use the car’s vents to bring in fresh outside air and/or keep the windows open.

Avoid contact with surfaces frequently touched by passengers or other drivers, such as door frame/handles, windows, seatbelt buckles, steering wheel, gearshift, signaling levers, and other vehicle parts before cleaning and disinfection.

Always wear a mask when going out, and especially when sharing a car or in any confined space.

Finally, in cars and ride-sharing, we want the windows open at all times. more

TAKE CARE & LIVE HAPPILY. more
Mr. Radhakrishnan, I am afraid you are wrong that covid does not exist. It does, There are many strains, some weak and some very strong and you can contact them if you are not careful. You can have different symptoms with covid and that is what is so frightening but if you take precautions you can be cured. Most mild symptoms are like influenza but others affect the lungs, the digestive system and the throat. more
Then is the flight sharing is OK ? People should keep social distancing always wherever possible why don't they follow the same guidelines in the flight ? Because it is simply impossible and the whole covid 19 itself is a hoax and the entire India still believes because our Media is doing a perfect job of making everyone fear about covid by showing huge cases and high number of deaths happening. Do you really know that globally right from Jan 2020 till July 2020 the total deaths have come down drastically after this covid the reason being covid isn't creating much of death, it is the fear the media creating makes people to die. more
The author herself is a hoax. Except writing what has been already circulated in the media and other authorities has she every tried to help any one? It is her phobia in keep writing trash with out any back up.Ignore her. more
Great sharing all of you. Wearing a mask in any vehicle is probably a good idea. more
