The Punjab government should stop all illegal trades, control pollution and improve the quality of education in villages and sub towns. It is an open secret that politicians and Govt. employees work in partnership with mining and drug and liquor mafias. Farm waste burning and banning of 10 years old commercial diesel vehicles, discharge of untreated water from industrial units should attract the attention of the Govt. In all schools and Govt. offices, biometric attendance machines should be installed on TOP priority. Ghost and absentee employees (about 35% of the total force) should be weeded out within a fixed period of 6 months to reduce the expenditure and improve the functioning of every department. more
