Are we undercounting COVID-19 deaths?
Many of you via the circle survey shared the number of individuals you have lost in your social networks to COVID-19. Also, you shared the extent of COVID suspect deaths and Covid accelerated deaths in your social networks. Below is the link to the survey report which points to the fact that India's Covid-19 death count may likely be understated due to a variety of reasons. .Covid-19 Death SurveyDo share the same via whatsapp and your social media. We would like all states to count Covid-19 deaths accurately and the Central Government to build a centralised death registration system. If the same is done, India will be better positioned in many many ways in the future.

The number of Covid related deaths depends on which party you belong to, or which political leader you are following. GOI should announce Rs.One crore per death of a Covid related person, in 24 hours India's population will ne negative.(please make sure pets are not eligible for compensation). I would like to know which chalk they use to count the dead. more

We heard about OROP (One Rank One Pension) being muted for the Army. I guess with the current Government it would be OPOC (Our Party Our Compensation)...this would shut out other parties. more

The Municipal bodies , the cemeteries have all the records. Dainik Bhaskar used this method to confirm the deaths in Indore and Bhopal. It was 5000 in one month almost 0.16% of the total population of Indore . now extrapolate this for pan India and one will get the tentative figure. more
