Covid standards
When the whole country is struggling with COvid 19 bis is busy making standards for lemon juice. I mean come on.
Please see attached and issue nation wise standards on this as to what should happen if a person turns out to be covid positive. This one done by chennai corp should be discussed, fine tuned and taken up for adoption pan India.

prevention is the answer than treatment testing etc at high pandemic stage. Hotels should not be opened and crowding to be banned .All should follow social distancing and take preventive medicines along with kashayam Ayurveda and follow strict hygiene. All places should supply these medicines free for some time. more

BIS has already released DRAFT standards for Food Safety and Hygiene and comments are required by 15 June – Code of practice for food businesses during Pandemics/ local epidemic diseases. I think BIS is a large organization and they issue standards for many products and services. more

If BIS does not take up other work, they would still be crticised for being after corona only as if no other problems existed. So with due importance to corona, let them address to other issues as well more
