Covid vaccination and covid attack.
I is strange that if a person after getting 1st dose of covid vaccination, got fever and after 5 days it was suspected to be covid-19 and after rapid test it was found to be positive. He is getting treatment for that. What explanation would the medical world going to give for this?
The GOI Ministry of Health has failed to curtail the 2nd wave at the initial stage itself. Adding to the woe GOI has permitted certain States to conduct Assembly election and the political parties took the campaign as a thamasha and not seriously to follow covid restrictions and precautions. This added the fuel to the fire of 2 wave spreading. Even though people ignore these, they all of the opinion that it is very injustice to export the vaccines produced in our nation to other countries without even thinking that our nation is burning with the dire necessity to get all people vaccinated and there is also shortage in catering the need to vaccinate one and all very quickly. Now certain political opp.parties like Congress politicians have raised this question of stopping exporting our vaccines to other nations before our need is satisfied fully. The People of this country will not forgive our PM if he fails to stop the exporting our vaccines and also getting vaccines of US to full fill the need of our people. WE PRAY OUR PRIME MINISTER MODIJI TO STOP EXPORTING OUR VACCINES TO OTHER NATIONS IMMEDIATELY. HE SHOULD ALSO ARRANGE TO GET ADEQUATE VACCINES FROM OTHER RELIABLE NATIONS LIKE U.S.TO FULL FILL THE GAP. He should also order opening Vaccination Centers all over Urban and Rural areas in large number in warfooting and arrange to vaccinate all above 18+ before end ot May, 2021.THIS IS IMMEDIATE. more

Maharashtra and Delhi has sizable floating and dense population and that may be one of the reasons for uncontrolled spread of virus. more

Do not blame the Govt for all the ills of the society. The Indian public is so indisciplined that they fail to observe the Covid protocols.Wearing a mask properly is the least one can do. In some states the state govt is not willing to administer the Covaxin vaccine. So at the drop of a hat blame the central govt. more

I think states are free to follow their own guidelines for Covid management or they can follow central guidelines, I don't think centre has withdrawn any guidelines.....the Election Commission of India is an independent authority and they probably missed their duty of announcing the Covid protocols during elections. But during voting, people are wearing the masks and CRPF have arranged sanitizer and gloves atleast in Kolkata. Social distancing is a dream in India..... I do not know if the second wave is due to the elections as Maharashtra does not have any elections and is the worst affected state, but irresponsibility of the government cannot be ruled out. Secondly, Maharashtra ordered a strict lock down this Saturday but I find hundreds of vehicles on the road in Pune. Where is the implementation? Where is the discipline of the people? If we do not discipline our people right from the beginning we will be annihilated if there is a war and nobody listens to instructions. People were hesitant to take the vaccine but come Covid-20 and just about everyone wants to take it. Secondly, let us trust our Indian vaccines. My daughter in the US told me just this morning that taking the pfizer vaccine has its disadvantages too. Many people have become paralysed, got terrible rashes and other complications, so let us now go into that. Thirdly, doctors should recommend medication for those with heart or high cholesterol problems to be taken just after the vaccine to rule out blood clots and be safe. more

Karur's comments are based on incomplete info, which have been corrected by Balkrishnan. I only wish to add that Serum Institute has been served with a legal notice by the inventor Astra Zeneca for failing to export them the contracted supply. If they withdraw their licence from Serum Institute, then SII can be LEGALLY prevented from manufacturing Covishield. So please don't blame PM for permitting limited exports. They have to abide by My grouse is that why should in a pandemic. Government not approve vaccines like Janssen, Pfizer, Moderna and others without have them clinically tried in India as well. It takes months and months for clinical trials, which have already been done by manufacturers elsewhere. Are Indians a different kind of human being than say Americans? Secondly, many private hospitals have asked Government to lift price controls and allow them to import vaccines directly for all those who are willing to pay more. Government is dithering so long on that. That would have reduced the load on COVID and other vaccines. more
