Crackdown on Parties
Seems the crackdown on the so called rave party is getting too much. If the organisers didnt procure liquor from Noida, that doesnt mean guests of the party can be kept behind bars for days.
Does that mean in future before we go to any party we ask the host when we arrive to prove to us that alcohol they are serving is tax paid and show us the receipt.
Noida Police should book them if there was drugs and escorts at the party but if there was only tax evaded alcohol then only organiser should be behind bars and not the guests. more

Can a parallel can be drawn between organized prostitution and such rave parties? When police raids either, both the customers and the providers are booked. more

Well commented by previous respondents. A Large private party like a Sangeet or Reception is usually not disturbed like this. Only the Host is fined for Excise infringements but Party is not stopped. Necessary Permissions must be taken. more

sometime we make comments without knowing facts.... What do you expect happening in a Rave party ? "Bhajan Sandhya" ? Are we trying to say anyone going for a rave party is innocent and does not know what was happening there and was not involved.... A tough message need to be given to all such people.... more

The party organized was for the purpose of earning revenue and thus all the rules and regulations were kept aside, this is not possible without the knowledge of the local police and other authorities. The name party was given to give it a shape of an private event, else there was a hefty entry fee charged. Thus a commercial venture, God forbidden had there been some unfortunate incident then the question would have been , were the authorities sleeping ( though it looks they were) , the point here is that this is end of such parties or just one off case of someone acting. Pls think. more

It is equivalent to targeting the guests who are benefitting from illegal acts of the host. Do not go to a party if you do not trust your host. more
