"Crime(s) against women" means not only 'rape' which is having a penal section under 376 IPC. Insulting the modesty of women (509-IPC), Outraging the modesty of women by assault or using criminal force (354-IPC), Harassment or cruelty against women (498-A IPC), Demanding Dowery (Sec.4 of Dowery Prohibition Act.) Dowery deaths (304-B IPC), infanticide against female child (302 IPC) are all crimes against women. Though there are stringent Laws and amended Laws to the present days, speedy and qualitative investigations; so also speedy and judicious trials are not taking place on account of various reasons. If the investigating agencies are questioned about their role, they give some lame excuses that all the given staff are engaged in VIP bund ousts, lack of man power or inefficiency in putting the facts under the frame of given Law either in procedural or evidentiary Laws and so on. If the Judiciary is questioned, it always speaks about shortage of Magistrates/Judges etc. to speed up trials. For going on giving unnecessary adjournments either at the instance of defence advocates or otherwise, Judicial machinery will be in very much eager for obvious reasons. It is a perineal problem about the shortage of manpower i.e. either officers or staff in all departments. Once it is seen commented upon by a railway officer that their department is also having shortage of around 20% strength, but they never brought on to the platform this day a train of couple of days back. It is absolutely true. Strict accountability is needed to be fixed either on the judiciary or on the investigating agency. Under no circumstances the citizen rather the victim should me made to suffer or put to further humiliation. After all in the civilised society no government functionalities should be left unaccountable for the duty they are performing. They should be made to understand that they are doing their job by taking their salaries from my out of the Government exchequer (Public Money). If the given Laws are strictly made implemented without any excuses, then we will find a change. more

Recently SC has imposed severe punishment To the gang rapists. There are lot of positive changes in the matter since honorable Modiji resumed as PM. There is very strict punishment should be imposed to the rapists. There should be lot relaxation and more beneficial schemes should be launched for the "Beti bachao abhiyan " The Sukanya scheme is launched but there is no handsome return is expected. In Gujarat Patel community has declared lot of schemes to save the female babies like education, marriage, jobs, etc with free of cost. Government should make a plan to reduce the unbalance between male/female. There is a mentality in the Indian society to produce son only. Many people adapt the family planning after one son. Ladies should have equal rights for election, education, job and business too. But Indian society is bound to the orthodox beliefs. Male is given preference in the family. Women are quite capable of handling family problems, jobs, shopping, social gathering and as sucssesful house wive too. Women should be respected and encouraged too. Women handle the critical situation delicately without exiting patiently. There are many virtues of women keep men far behind. One should compromise the present situation and behave accordingly. At present the male/female ratio is nearly 1000/800. Means 200 males will remain unmarried out of 1000. This is horrible for Indian society. According to the climate conditions the younger generation cannot remain without enjoying the sex. So the gang rapes, children sexual exploitation and women are being the victims of the rapists. The sex videos, porn videos, animal sex videos have made the uneducated youngestors almostly mad behind sex. The young men of some celebrities and politicians are raising benefits of the lonely ladies and rape them. So far Indian courts have not done major punishment so they are freed after lower punishment. more
