Customer Compensation for Internet downtime
I've been facing internet black out periods due to service provider issues. Though they resolve it in a day, I feel that the service provider should be financially penalised for guaranteeing 100% internet connectivity at the time of sale, and not able to meet those standards. I work from home often, and a disruption in service is a critical issue to my source of income.
I am yet to see a single internet service provider in India who agrees to this clause (refunds or waiver of fee for internet disruptions).
Can the government initiate a directive in this regard?
