Customer service charges

Why is government allowing companies to have chargeable calls for customer service ? This is highly inappropriate. Are companies in India so Arrogant to think that Indian customers call them for their own
entertainment? Obviously most customers are calling them to rectify problems created by product suppliers. On top of inconveniences, customers also have to pay call charges? This is ridiculous. Why there are no actions? Doesn’t matter how little or more charges are .... it can’t be acceptable. more

I am writing this to you from America where I have been since 1962 ... The difference between the US economy and Indian economy is that "In the US economy, buyer is the king, while in Indian economy, seller is the king!!!" ... And the reason is that we did not have Government that took care of buyers for 60 years!!! ... So the cheating was rampant and buyer could not do anything ... Things are slowly changing now, but it takes time to get rid of bad habits ... So, in short, to your question, the answer is that "Companies don't care." ________________________________ From: Chetan Desai Sent: Friday, March 15, 2019 4:18 AM To: vishpradhan@hotmail.com Subject: "Customer service charges" more
For getting any customer service, there should not be any charge. It should be through toll free numbers and if the complaint is genuine, it should be done by seeking excuse. more
