Customer Service Orientation for Government Offices - Inputs on Issues
Thank you everyone for your invaluable contributions in this circle.
While we are still working on the subject of Boosting Jobs and Economic Growth Solutions, we are starting a parallel discussion on one of the immediate priorities for Government identified by you.
Please give your inputs on all the challenges faced in dealing with Government personnel and offices like Police, Municipality, Property Registration, RTO, Courts, Railways, etc. We have a separate discussion on Corruption that was concluded a few weeks ago (whitepaper due to be published soon).
The focus here is to list what and how citizens face harassment at Government offices, followed by identification of root causes (separate post) and then identify solutions (separate post) that we can take to the Modi Government to implement.
Our mission has to be such that 5 years from now when we enter a Government Office in the country, we hear - "How can we serve you?" and not "Why are you here?"
We have faced these challenges for long enough, let us list them now, review them collectively so we all understand and then help our Government work it.
