Trees are very efficient scavengers of dust and pollutants, and that several studies have shown that wherever there is a high density of trees, the quantity of pollutants is drastically low. Conversely, the amount of dust trapped by the trees in these areas is very high. The removal of such a large number of trees is not good for a city like Delhi, which is already considered one of the world’s most polluted cities.
Like what others have suggested, focus should be on allotting excess inventory in ncr noida and gurgaon, ghazaibad and faridabad to bureaucrats who would be allotted these new houses after trees and cut and construction completed, the ncr housing would also become available to bureaus much sooner as many of it is already ready more

In my opinion for redevelopment of any city some trees if required to be chopped up may be allowed but redevelopment should not suffer alone. I think let the competant take a balance view. more

Yes, Govt residents should be build Outside Delhi along the Metro line. Cutting fully grown trees is not good idea any where in world. One large tree can supply oxygen for four people. more
