Daily Life Integrity Gap in India - Inputs Needed

We have discussed corruption in various sectors over the last 2 months and have taken up some of the reported items with the Government. Many others are in works.

Today, we would like all of you to give inputs on the common daily life ethics/integrity gaps we live with in India.

Once we understand all the gaps, we will separately seek your inputs on "integrity practices that all Indians must follow" and publish the final output so citizens at large can inculcate these practices in their daily life.

We look forward to inputs of every member!

I am the Owner of a flat in a building Merlvin on Plot No.483/484 (CTS No.1410) Chembur. This Plot belongs to The St. Anthony's Coop. Housing Society Ltd. Christian Association. Now a Builder has started harasing us to vacate the plot as he intends to develop the same. He claims to have acquired ownership under a Power of Attorney from the Lessee which is illegal as the Lessor is not a confirming party. Despite all these irregularities he has got the property transferred to his name with the connivance of the Authorities concerned. Your assistance in investigating and rectifying this matter would be appreciated. It may be added that he has followed this modus operandi and got various other properties also transferred to his name. more

The Govt. should focus on minimizing wasteful expenditure which is eating out the life line of poor & needy people. There are so many Boards, Corporations, Commissions which have overlaping jurisdiction. For example, there are DCWs. There is a full fledged Ministry for Children & Women welfare. In addition, there are Courts, Panchayats, Women Cell in police where they can reach to redress their grievances, if any. Giving too much protection to any class or group of people does more harm than good to the society. Today, we are not in 1950s but have since entered 21st century. The political class must rise above vote bank politics in the over all welfare & well being of common man. more
We Indians are basically hypocrate. Whatever we preach and what we practice is totally different. And this problem is not only with political class but also with general public. To avoid a small inconvenience we can give a false statement. more
