Dangerous Dog imports banned

Some action post all your efforts circle friends (attached)

However the clueless administrators still dont know what to do about stray dogs.

Why hasnt the LocalCircles ask not been implemented to make stray anumal management a clean city criteria for annual rankings.

With due respect to animal lovers, strays are a big menace. While a lot of people keep pets, they are protected/monitored. Strays tend to be overlooked, are in poor condition and the result are the incidents that we keep coming across so often. There has to be some balance and the civic administration must find means to control this issue. This is not something that started yesterday. Its an issue which exists from the time our city came into existence. Stray dogs can go wild in hot weather and that can cause a lot of harm if they bite or harm people. more
Good cause that should be taken up seriously … the stray animals in colonies and roads is an Indian phenomenon that reflects the lackadaisical attitude of citizens and municipal authorities both … unfortunately even in elite private and public clubs of our country where children under a certain age are not allowed access but stray dogs and cats prowling all over are accepted … they have a huge stray animals population intermingling with the humans and licking the leftover from club crockery … this surely comprises the safety and hygiene of humans but why no government directive has been issued for controlling this menace is bewildering. more
Nikita as usual has taken the right point more
Why the administration should work ? They get fixed salaries, perks n pensions by doing nothing or doing something casually. After all tax payers money comes for free. more
Municipalities must cull stray dogs. more
But people or civic body officials still dread Menaka Gandhi. I took stray dog feeder lady to police station for feeding inside the complex for which she earning Rs.600 per dog per month. TheSHO received a call from Menaka Gandhi through the Advocate of NGO. Since dog bite victims were with, the SHO could not pay much importance to Mrs. Gandhi. more
