In an editorial in the Shiv Sena mouthpiece `Saamna`, Thackeray likened the Congress and Nationalist Congress Party to 'dead snakes' and referred to the Bharatiya Janata Party as his party's real enemy.
The Shiv Sena chief accused the BJP of indulging in casteism and regionalism, just like Mulayam Singh Yadav (Samajwadi Party chief) and Lalu Prasad Yadav (Rashtriya Janata Dal president) do.
