Dear All , In a recent travel along with 20 Senior citizens from Udipi to Pune by train No. 22149 of 27th Jan,2017, in 3Ac coach, noticed how the railway has gone down in their moral to fool the passengers. Most of the passengers in the Bogie B1 & B2 were senior citizens and some were differently abled person who were looking for Western Style Toilets. To everyone"s surprise,though the door of the toilet indicated as "Western Style", actually it was an Indian one. This is how Railways fool the passengers. The present Railway Minister is interested only revising the fare on the Higher side and withdrawing the facilities. I am enclosing the photos clicked confirming the above facts. more

Is there a will there is a way! If the will is not there even God cannot help. This is the point here. This toilet might have fixed at the railways maintenanace service point duly decided by some, fixed by some and finally inspected by the quality control people of the railways. All the three groups are at fault which can be easily caught and rectified. But in the railways there seems to be no WILL. Thanks more

In addition to this, these toilets are mostly unkept and unhygienic, especially long distance trains (Trivandrum to Mumbai). If Railways could provide one cleaning staff in the train whose job would be to keep the toilets clean during the travel or arrange for cleaning at select stations and make sure that it is being done would sincerely be appreciated. more
