Dearness allowance & inflation

The government has announced an increase in DA for central government employees, by 4 % to 46%. Does the government therefore now accept, that there is matching inflation to justify that increase for their staff ? Market shows inflation, but government denies it. Common man is confused as to whether inflation is conditional and convenience based. The issue is not the DA, but the double standards adopted by government in talking about inflation. more

What about Pvt company employees who have paid I.T throughout life in a compulsion mode and now at Sr citizen level no benefits from Govt. A scheme needs to be worked out in such a way that they get Monthly benefit by way of interest on TDS paid for 35+ years. EPF pension amount is meagre that too comes from amount deducted from our own PF....too much indiscrimination. I now repent having been honest and ethical in this country where black money economy is parallel or even more that genuine revenues. All our hard earned money getting siphoned here and there, Now when Elections coming up crores and crores of money will come out for campaigning, parties and what not. Too difficult to understand our economics...figures declared by Govt are an eye wash. Even a kid knows how the money gets settled amongst severals whenever any schemes or Projects are implemented. There are no concrete steps seen ever in controlling Inflation. When there is so much undisclosed income in country, inflation bound to be there. We all are looking at Sr Govt officers living style and expense levels...for them DA hike is just an chillar perk. It unnecessary increases burden on Govt coffer more
What about Non Pensioner Senior Citizens? How they will Compensate for Very High Inflation? more
Both are related actually. The Inflation is checked by giving DA or the salary increment and the increase in the income causes inflation. more
