Our system should discourage lawyers across the country from taking up cases of accused criminals. However they may take up cases after thorough study and scrutiny of the case. If the accused in any particular case is convicted, the concerned lawyer should refrain from proceeding further for delaying the case. All legal remedies after conviction should be scrapped. The mercy petition system should be eliminated. Those lawyers who delay the case and help convicted criminals should also be barred from practicing further and punished. These are my suggestions and my views to make the judiciary system more effective and efficient to render justice to the victim and his /her kith and kin. more
