Let consumer affairs dept do something, to protect the data of so many peoples. more
No one compels one to download and use any APP. It is one's own choice. When you available a totally free service, you are supposed to be aware of the risks involved too. Therefore, either one may knowingly opt to use the APP or deliberately opt out its use. more
its already been listed by govt of India as one of the chinese apps that we should avoid as almost chinese apps steal data from our phone. i never use it. more
Firstly, It's not a Chinese app. Secondly they have clearly mentioned about using your data in the terms you agree while installing the app. more
obviously, when installing the app they ask your permission for various data which they use/ or so to say misuse. Hence better to avoid allowing permissions. In this age of super network highway, one can not stop these types of mischiefs, what one can do is to keep oneself at abeyance which I do. I check the phone nos on the laptop which are not in my saved list, Best of luck more
This is a true fact that Truecaller App has tie up with data seeking companies.... I have read it on one of the blogs I follow...I too had installed this App and after reading what Truecaller does... I deleted the same.... I don;t know what TRAI will do.... Please refrain from using this APP more
