I visited DDA Vikas Minar for paying the arrears for my ground rent for DDA flat.Was told to go to Vikas Sadan at INA.
In fact it could have been paid in the Central Bank there.
Visited Vikas Sadan in january 2015. There are at least 20 people having help desks with "May I help You" written . None of them was helpful, infact one lady was munching dry fruits and having a glass of milk to boot. I asked her and she sent me off to some accounts guy who was not in his desk for half an hour that I waited for him to appear.Then I was sent to another hall, and most of the 100 odd guys did not seem to be doing to be just whiling their time.
Any way we finally met some accounts guy who directed me to pay on account at the Central bank.
Now , I want to get my lease hold property to free hold.The process is supposed to be online.
My submission is that all these people who are being paid at the help desk , should be able to guide Senior citizens, and those who are not tech savvy to fill the application forms and apply online, so that it is transparent and eliminates the need to take the help of touts, who hang around and have tie up with the concerned departments.
Also, many of these documents need to verified by the magistrate.As Modiji has also mentioned that, they can be self verified, as they are already with the Government.
I have read the letter by Shri Balvinder Kumar the Vice Chairman of DDA a presently, who has specially worked towards making the process more transparent and online.
Submission is that senior citizens need help to fill the same and it should be made available with the help desks provided for the same. more

I really did not undrstnd the logic behind not removing jhopdis from DDA land. All people will hop in from other states which is already a problem statement for Delhi. People who has some work or studies should be allowed to come to Delhi. Not for begging, robbery or rapes. more
