Delhi Govt has lost it

There is a clampdown on all oxygen providers in Delhi and Noida, while there is no alternative in sight for patients in home isolation. Is this a systematic attack on all of us? Where will people refill their cylinders from?

Delhi Government is saying all persons requiring oxygen for home isolation can apply on delhi.gov.in with a valid photo ID, Aadhaar card details and COVID19 positive report. Attached circular.

Duffer bureaucrats who draft this attached do not know that for many tests are just not getting done even after 4-5 days and they are needing oxygen much before.

If this is allowed to continue we will have another serious crisis. more

Bunch of fools more
Just washed hands from the responsibility, people those are helping in reducing the load in hospital by staying at home...but irony they are not getting timely oxygen. This is not specific to Covid patients, Delhi is capital of Asthmatic people's, now where they will go. Government should implement such mechanism that everyone in need should get the oxygen. more
I Don't understand even who don't understand logistics and movement of Oxygen spill out for central govt. Biggest point is Even High Court is sensing if the movement is via pipeline or Tankers which are not available at large. First these tankers are required to be filled at distant locations . Second - The Tankers which have arrived at Destination cant be immediately sent back. Third- These tankers cant be made on immediate basis, Thats why its being imported. Remedy- DRDO OBOG Tejas have been installed at AIIMS , RML. Next point- This is biggest mistake of Delhi Govt. to choke stop Oxygen being filled outside. People who have not been admitted and taking VC consultation with Doctor , where will they go? By the time Oxygen will arrive at Home of critical patient. He will no more to breathe in those oxygen. more
There is a need to check malpractices as well as provide for genuine patients. Thus some balance must be drawn. more
I reckon you are not following the proceedings in the Supreme court. The Central govt has been choking the citizens of Delhi by providing half their requirement since April 20th . This has led to black marketing and with police under Central govt , the Delhi govt is helpless. Thanks to its efforts the Supreme court is now allocating its due share to Delhi and with proper supply coming, to eliminate black marketing, this measure has been introduced. The Natak company is the Central govt, which was allocating full quota or more, to other states while giving Delhi a miserly amount and whose Natak has been finally brought to an end ! Requirement of oxygen comes in phase 2 of Covid, not every one who is positive should try to get one. The central govt has been arguing Delhi is demanding more Oxygen than required, hence demand through portal can be immediately shown to the Supreme Court committee monitoring, if Delhi government demand is genuine . You should be thankful that Delhi govt has been able to increase allotment from Central Govt, which has turned a blind eye to Delhi, from 350 to 700 tons ( and fighting for 950 tons the real demand) through Supreme court intervention! more
