I think - all Parties believe in one point - fool the pubic. One of the plus point in favor of VAT (when we shifted from sales tax - there will be only 3 slabs - 4%, 12%, 20% only) now every other day VAT or some chess is levied - who pays. It is we, the people of India pays. BUT DO WE HAVE ANY ACCOUNTABILITY? Example - AAP Government has levied pollution tax Rs. 700.00 for any in coming EMPTY TATA 407 and Rs. 1400.00 if it is loaded - assurance - pollution will reduce. If they fail to reduce - will they compensate us for the ill legitimate tax exhorted from us. Similarly now they have collected Rs. 2000.00 during Odd - Even Experiment. They are telling us the same will be used to promote cycle - free cycle will be given to there vote bank. Money extorted from VERY VERY HARD WORKING PEOPLE - I KNOW HOW MUCH LABOR I HAVE PUT IN MY LOWER, MIDDLE, HIGHER, UNDER GRADUATE, POST GRADUATE NOW TO ESTABLISH MY BUSINESS - I TELL YOU IT IS NOT THAT SO EASY - AS DEMANDED BY OBC / SC / ST/ EWS - FREE DOLE - in lieu of vote, from whose money - it is all ours - the very very hard working people of India. India is developing country - not because of Politicians - but due to people of India - how by nature are very hard working. I wish we could have the politicians - also from the same breed - we would have been on the top. Much ahead of USA and China. more

Madam Sheetal Jain seems to be writing sponsored posts. If she is so keen on plight of common man, why she is not raising question as to why petrol and diesel prices have not reduced substantially in India when international prices are nearly 30% of the price about 9 months back. May be because petrol/diesel prices are fixed by the Central Govt. As per Hindustan Times, The government of Delhi has rationalised the VAT rates for petrol and diesel on the basis of the decision taken in the meeting of finance ministers of northern states for bringing uniformity in the tax rates. The increase is 2% for petrol and 1.4% for diesel. So let us not post misleading information. more

Why the price of petrol and diesel is not decreasing much in India, even though the crude oil price have reduced drastically? Further I have not paid a single penny on DJB Bill since Feb 2014 as my water consumption remains below 20 kl per month. Also since last 2 billing cycle my Elect consumption remained < 400 units, so I availed the rebate. Thanks to AK, MAY GOD BLESS HIM. more
