Delhi recorded 3609 new COVID19 cases today and this is 400% more of 3 weeks ago. India and Delhi have shown they are worst when it comes to decision making. I am sorry friends. more

We just can't afford to keep going into lockdowns. People need to earn livelihoods. But where we've woefully fallen short is adopting safe practices as a way of life while going about our daily business. By now even the illiterate know safety protocols very well. Inspite of that we can see carelessness all around us, even among highly educated professionals. And we're paying the price in the galloping infection rate. Silver lining? Hmmm....... 77% Recovery rate, Mortality rate - 1.78% more

Have we, as a nation, given up on the pro-active approach to try & contain / control the spread ! Are we just going to let the counts increase everyday ? This is not how we started our fight in the month of March ! We need to re-think / renew our strategies once again. more

I can see the cause for mounting worry about Delhi. Only, with 45797 tests on Tuesday, the positivity rate for Tuesday 8 September in particular has come down to less than 8% compared to the previous day.But that is small consolation I know. more
