Citizens follow examples better than diktat. Enough finger pointing at citizens. Various forms of punishment for common citizens being suggested, even as seen last year with guest workers returning to their villages ultimately ordinarily as common persons we pay with our lives. Government being just the rule maker seems uninspiring! Governance means leading by example thereby deriving moral authority. Yes these crowds were totally avoidable. But government must inspire others in demonstrating care, as enjoying power, especially the increasingly presidental type, enjoins that responsibility on government. more
Those who violate the norms and are caught should not get treatment in any of the Hospitals in Delhi. Their Aadhar Card and Election Id should be confiscated. Also public punishment telecast live making them do sit ups would dissuade them. But the Delhi Punjabi's would thrash the Police in public and Police as it is follow the diktats of Government. So when the Police and LG along with some hand picked HC Judges whose allocated task is to criticize and pull up Delhi Government all the time, Delhi-ites are surely In for a Government sponsored Third Wave. more

Despite all the warnings and awareness, people (specially youth) are eager to go for "Kanwar Yatra". Surprising some politicians are relectant to suspend the practice but facilitate the yatra to win a few votes. If yatra takes place, it would definitely spread the virus as the participants move and overnight stay in groups without any social distancing and mask etc. more
