Delhi loosing it again
See this attached video from this am. We Delhiities I guess just wont let Covid19 go away. The numbers started going down less than 1000 per day and everyone declared victory and here we are 1400 yesterday (report attached) and the way we are assembling for social and sports activity like this am on rajpath (attached) we will be at 2000 again by month end.

Dear Seema Mehra ji I has been see this video this video is of vvip areas a result DELHI police has no power to make challans of this people because they belong to higher standard families not only this you can see in the evening some young age boys and girls cycling from gurudawa Bangla sahib towards Khan market and many of them not wear the mask and DELHI police and traffic police just watch them standing on the footpath as three days ago I along with my friend comes from Ashok vihar side in car my friend just put down the mask as he feels uncomfortable to breath easily at the barercating police man stop the car and make a challan of rupees 500by saying you are sitting in car without wearing a mask when my friend ask him the matter he said that is your problem as if you were stand outside of your house without wearing the mask it is also a public place and I have the power to make a challan of you but in vvip area police becomes helpless as higher authorities have a huge pressure on the field staff they watch everything but don't do any thing law and order is for normal or weaker person not for the powerful person Thanks On Sun, Aug 9, 2020, 12:15 PM Seema Mehra wrote: > more

After a total lockdown at home for four and a half months, my wife and I decided to have a car ride through Chanakyapuri, Connaught Place and then the India Gate area. Even we saw these cyclists, riding away to glory, some with and some without masks. Even in the Connaught Place inner circle one could observe at least forty per cent of the pedestrians walking around without face masks. Roadside "chaatwallas" and wayside "smartphone-cover-wallas" were having roaring business. Least consideration was shown whether the person next to you had a face mask on or not. And these were teenagers mostly. The "Naturals" ice cream shop in the outer circle had their own rules. Six individuals from six different families could enter the shop but husband and wife were not allowed to go in together. However, outside the shop at least thirty people were enjoying their ice creams with zero attention to safe-distancing. And the "littering" part outside the shop would put anyone to shame. There is no dustbin outside the shop into which their customers could deposit the packages after having enjoyed their ice creams. "Indiscipline" and "Refusing to learn civic and social sense" in our own country are two main criteria which make other countries not respect us. more

Now, this should give those, who seek governmental initiative and intervention at every drop of the hat, the realistic push to think of how the public at large can be convinced of taking proper precautions in order to contain the pandemic. The Coronavirus not coming under control is primarily due to the inconsiderate behaviour of the people. more
