Justice delayed is justice denied. Even fast track court in Basant vihar rape case could not be effective. So, where is the law ? Which type of this law is ?? more

most of the crimes against women happen because the punishment or the fear of punishment is almost absent. If the laws are strong and those convicted are not allowed to go scot-free, there will be a big reduction in these crimes because there will be a fear of law. The punishment for these crimes should be the harshest possible and it should be quick to make sure that the perpetrators do not get any chance to play around with the law. The police also should be more sensitive to these type of crimes and should act fast. more

All bus drivers, taxi drivers, auto rickshaw drivers and all those who are involved in public dealings/transportation should have background check.it will help in checking bad elements to some extent more

Quoting the words of a senior police officer - If the junior staff of the police force ie - upto the rank of SI would have been capable he or she would not have joined police force. Therefore please do not expect any reasonable resolution to your problem or any decency from the junior staff and in case of help ( specific in case of women safety ) please approach SHO or above ranks. more
