Delhi Metro new rules from sunday

Delhi Metro have been allowed to operate with 100% 'seating capacity' and NO standing passengers in its coaches. Metro would NOT run with 100% capacity from tomorrow. It's carrying capacity would increase from 25 passengers per coach to 50 passengers per coach. more

Exit of passengers from the coach must happen before entry as a simple way to see that having each one observe distancing protocols better. Passengers may enter in a single file too. This is scientific and logical way, but do citizens observe this convention! Unlike last year, however, the metro must be kept running, as this huge infrastructure that exists is the city's lifeline. No cost there involved in building new infrastructure. Remember, existing Delhi Metro now only requires sensible utilisation, as government keeps up improving the Metro. more
Delhi Government is known to make aggresisve decisions. MAY BE IT WILL HELP IN THE LONG RUN IN DEVELOPING h"HERD IMMUMINTYI". more
Very disgusting of govt. When in metro all seats remain full along with passenger s in standing, already. And if people are alert then no harm in it . more
A typical case of the left hand not knowing what the right hand does !! Newspaper report is different from the practised reality. more
True ! How a person boarding a coach would know if he would get a seat or will have to travel standing. ? more
With only one gate for entry and another gate for exit there are big problem of crowding at both gates, highly inconvenient to most public, lifts and escalator up or down non availability. This problem now gets much more exaggerated. Hardly any benefit with this policy bur big problems and risks to users.
Whatever Covid precautions are envisaged at one gate can easily be, rather better, deployed. Related Paid employees must be rusting
Authorities have hardly any brains to analyse and take decisions more
