Delhi Municipal Manifesto Priorities

Unless we make institutions created for for maintaining social fabric in healthy conditions, corruption free, nothing is going to happen. we need to find system how to make our elected representative accountable for they are supposed to do as their fundamental duty. You will always find multiple agencies involved for different cleaning work blaming each others for not doing their work. Those agencies hired for doing jobs are most irresponsible and will leave the waste and unused material littered, since they have partnered with supervising staff by bribing, no action is taken, they are paid in advance, no final checking done, Since lower. We need community supervision and strong will to demand clean environment for healthy society, choked drains and scattered litter is major source of spreading communicable diseases, and contaminating our drinking water, breathing air, spreading harmful vi-rouses. When you complain blame game starts. United action is needed to tackle corruption in public places, and making accountable those who are given this responsibility. J.M.Gupta more
In addition to above points few more points should be added. Reclaim water bodies, implement rain water harvesting, educate public for waste management and implement, take action for removing pet dog shit menace on roads and footpaths etc. Though manifesto points are given by public but will these be considered for devising policies and implement in letter and spirit. This is a million dollar question under present scenario as we see the fate of Swachh Bharat Abhiyan more
Good work. But what does this manifesto means to a person like me? In every election lot of manifestos are made and now since TV is highly developed lot of propaganda is done. But after election - every thing is kept aside for next election. So I believe we should mot waste our time. more
Parking on roads and bye lanes is a menace. They not only create traffic hazard which contributes to air pollution. Pedestrians are left with no space for them. Footpath are overflowing with shopkeepers goods which force pedestrians to endanger their life of busy roads. Parking on roads msut be taken seriously and stopped for safety of pedestrians and other road users. Also many building structures build slope on roads for their their own convenience, this needs to be cleared as it occupies motorable area more
Oh Wow! I appreciate the admin putting my post as some of the 'manifesto points'. Thank you admin. Appreciate that ! more
