Delhi pollution woes - Shift the capital city !

The central govt and the Delhi govt are unable to control the levels of atmosphere pollution in the last five years .
The stubble burners are demanding a huge ransom which if implemented costs the govt a lot of money .
Pakistan also is trying to increase the pollution in our city by various means ,the people are tired of lack of result.
The Present govt is toying with the idea of building a new parliament .
Delhi with its past remains the most attractive city in north India and it has its extreme weather fluctuations .
Since the Delhi govt and GOI are at crossing their paths frequently on many issues of jurisdiction and propriety ,it will be good idea like many USA states capitals to locate a small compact capital either in central India like NAGPUR or HYDERABAD .The weather is salubrious through the year and it need not be very big but compact with just Parliament ,housing for govt minister and its officials away from the present city .
This will solve many problems of connectivity for all states as it is a central hub in Indian map.
Opinions are invited by the esteemed citizens on this issue which will solve many problems being faced now by the present GOI located in Delhi . more

Central india is ideal for many as it is centrally located. more
This is real situation, its just advert for elections, with no work and more wastage of public money, which could have been used for real measures like getting vaccum cleaners, air purifier towers and planting trees too What a shame and wasteful expenses in advert only without any real work, while same money could have been used to make some start in real pollution control machines too more
May be these pollution figures are match fixed during Hindu festivals by lobbyists. Because warnings starts just before the festivals. And surprisingly it comes down during the festival. Stubble burning is also natural way of fertilising and pest controlling used in traditional farming. It may be a ploy like disgracing coconut oil for its quality of freezing during winter to prove it as main cause for blockages in heart decease to market sunflower oil in India. But it is proved to be best oil to be used. Similarly smoke from stumble burning. more
Controlled burning with raw mud from field will reduce pollution an results in good fertilizer to fields is an good old tradition everywhere. However, in Haryana & Punjab have mechanized farming without much cattle usage reduced use of main paddy stubble as cattle feed and only root stub was being burnt earlier or even today in most of the Agriculturist of India . Mechanization should have followed up with an alternate solution to reuse /recycle these extra of stubble to produce Bio-gas or fuel for alternative use than open burning which is not so much polluting.
Off-course Delhi - Luteyan's talk these pollution issue only one week prior to Deepawali and forget/subsides after the festival. Some Lobby of Pollution free Clean air Gadget sellers make Hey ( manufactured not in India) more
Many Conventional methods and Systems in all had been set diversified befitting non Conventional System Practice being Globally also aligned.

I find merit in what Prabhakar Rao has to make a suggestion in shifting the GOI capital out of Delhi, although people who have made billions of rupees of real estate investments there over long period of time will not be able to support such an idea. In most advanced countries the capital city is relatively a small city built and developed for the purpose of administering the country or state. In US ,Washington DC is small compared to mega cities like NewYork, Dallas ,San Francisco or Chicago. In Canada , Ottowa is nothing compared to Toronto or Montreal. In Germany Bonn looks like a small hemlet if you had earlier visited Munich or Frankfurt. Very few people who have visited Los Angles or San Francisco are aware that Sacramento is the capital of California. So what is wrong if a new capital town is built around Bhopal, Nagpur, Indore , Gwalior or Hyderabad housing the Parliament and central administrative structures ? more
Pollution will follow ANY development, be it a shifting of capital, or industrial and commercial growth. The root cause must be identified and solutions formulated. Mere shifting the capital is just a band-aid solution. more
