Demise of Spicejet
The attached news in paper indicates spicejet is in trouble. Court has ordered it pays 180 crores to a vendor.
It means if i had a booking doubtful that it will be honoured. It would be wise to not make any new bookings on this airline till it clears up its mess.

Environmental impact of aviation industry are high and the environmental costs thereof are made with the future, with passengers being charged market determined prices. Positioned as a no frills airline, Spicejet thus appealed to the budget traveller, for whom economy was the main concern, yet who with their growing size, railway passengers shifting towards airlines given the time saved and convenience, now enjoy monopsony power. However, like Jet among many, let us watch. more

Spice might go to SC or ask for payment in installment. It is too easy to seek winding up. Its repercussions on employees, lenders, investors and Govt. institutions are wide spread. Let us hope for a workable solution. more

Trouble of non release of employees salary in September 21 lead to cancellation of flights and I had to book an alternative flight. Employees resorted to strike inconvenced many fliers like me. more
