Dengue/Swine Flu and the Govt
For dengue non-storage of unnecessary clean water is the 1ST CONDITION. For the spread of this dreaded mosquito born disease the households are only responsible. NEVERTHYLESS the Government of India machinery has to gear up the efforts by way of:
1. generating more awareness - the NGOs should also step forward to approach home to home in various mohallas/suburbs of the cities like Moradabad, Bareilly, Karnal etc. even now so that further spread can be stopped immediate FORTHWITH.
2. screening of documentaries on the Television is another source of communicating the ANTI DENGUE and ANTI SWINE FLUE messages and the ways and means of preventing them.
3. all the hospitals/clinics to have test facilities and sufficient stock of the relevant medicine.
4. most importantly and above all NO HOSPITALS/CLINICS should ever refuse to check/admit the patients for their preliminary examinations/diagnosis/tests. In case the patients condition is beyond management by them they can and should immediately refer to other higher hospitals INSTEAD of just leaving the patients and their family members at their CONFUSED AND PERILOUS STATE OF MIND THAT TOO NOT BEFORE ADMINISTERING THE 1ST AID SORT OF MEDICATIONS. more
