deteriorating services of health insurance services.

This is really a true picture of current scenario. Despite increase in premium amount continuously in ;ast 2-3 years after covid, service standards have drastically gone from bad to worst by these insurance agencies. Even 1-2 days delay can cause cancellation in cover by insurance company , there is no provision for penalty to continue the policy, but when it comes to payment its reverse story. Nexus of hospitals, health insurance companies and pharma companies has damaged medical systems in many countries, our country is moving in that direction . more

I think health insurance at least for senior citizens should be provided by the Government and not private players. more

You've been crying like this for last 10yrs.. can you at least say when will it happen? Don't know?? more
All Health Services should be Nationalised. There should be no Private Hospitals or Private practice by Doctors. more
Nationalisation will kill whatever little is left in these insipid insurance companies. Have we not seen how the four general insurance companies operated? Absolute lack of foresight, poor quality of coverage, no innovation and tariff-based premiums. I dread to have any of these back. Allow more freedom and move against too many restrictive conditions. Place penalties on poor service and delays beyond TAT. more
Good in theory. Have a lot of negatives in real sense. A better approach is to let government define ailments and control rates for premium. more
i had a health insurance from bajaf insurance, sum assured was 3 lakh . i was paying premium several years . premium got increase from aboput 30 thousand reached to 48 thousad in 2020, there was no claim . once i make for cataract surgery . mu they refused to pay. in 2021 suddenly premium was increased to 98 thousand for same 3 lakh sum assured all my objection not accepted by the shark company. i stoppe this bajaj policy . and made new policy from star health for me and my family . i found stare health is good , it paid all expenses fom my surgey. also paid full for cataract surgery of my wife more
agreed. The quality of people , their commitment has gone down, whether it is Ins company of Banks or Mutual funds . The concept of call center is the worst. very junior , inexperienced and untrained people give mechanical answers and the senior management is not interested in solving the customers problem. more
