Development of Coimbatore north Railway Station
Coimbatore Junction is too congested and hence Coimbatore North to be developed as an alternate (by Salem Division) and create enough infrastructure quickly (no of platforms, signals, overhead foot passage for passengers to exit on the north and south side (currently people have to cross the railway track to reach Coimbatore North Station Office which is quite unsafe) and this would help people from various locations to reach quickly thru this Railway Station and hence avoid unnecessary crowd there at Coimbatore Jn. This is a must and also the foot over bridge on both sides of the Coimbatore North is an urgent safety need and I wonder how the Safety Commissioner approved the Railway Station without any under ground or foot over bridge to exit the Railway STATION without crossing the railway tracks by the passengers. more

We are able carry our luggage in air port by carriers provided with wheels. But in railway stations we are blocked by porters and we could not get such carriers. Why ? more

A suggestion. While travelling in the battery operated cars for senior citizen, unnecessary problems are created by porters in carrying the luggage in the battery car. How to solve this prroblem? more

Also local city buses can be operated from the Coimbatore North Railway entrance thru Mettupalayam Road for the benefit of the passengers similar to Trichirapalli Railway jn. more
