Development of Railway Stations.

Railway stations needs to be developed. They should be passenger friendly. Some of the amenities and changes are needed.
1. Railway stations should be free from stray dogs.
2. Railways stations should have separate entry and exit entry to avoid congestion in the stations.
3. Stations should be fully lighted during nights. In the pretext of saving power, many stations have only limited lights glowing at nights helps anti-social elements to have a ride on the passengers.
4. All major stations should have gen sets at the stations during power cut period. Railways can seek local business bigwigs help.
5. Cleaning stations should be given to private social activists groups.
6. Especially big stations on long routes which handles scores of trains each day should have proper information network in case of abnormal delay in arrival or departure of trains to avoid congestion at stations.
7. Provision of food outlets at stations by local famous restaurants to the liking of the travelling public.
8. Provision of luggage carrying trolleys like in airports to the travelling passengers.
9. Provision of escalators, battery operated cars should be provided for aged passengers.
10. All platforms should have fully covered waiting rooms for late night travelling passengers at en-route stations during night/winter seasons.
11. Important station junctions should have medicinal trolleys/ vendors to assist passengers of the passing trains.
12. All stations big or small should avoid entry of beggars, enunches, unauthorized vendors as nuisance to the travelling public.
13. All express and mails should be provided with waste bags for litters. They should be cleared with empty one at every major junctions at every 100 Kms. more  

Arrangement for toilets & their cleaning at each platform for ladies & children more  
Measures should be made available for boarding senior citizens easily & safely into the train at each platform for all trains more  
Tickets purchasing for passengers to be made easy.provide local train tickets on internet as for reserved tickets reservedreserved on irctc site or any other site more
