DG set ban after oct 15 wont be implemented
As much as I appreciate Bhure Lal of EPCA to be a fighter against pollution, I thinks he lacks understanding of how generators work. By giving clarifications below he is only confusing everyone more on “generators only for emergency services” if air quality is very poor or severe after oct 15.
Whole societies have dg sets its now off and on switch that u connect lift and disconnect residential connections based on how air quality is changing.
So there cant be any ban on dg sets. Either its full ban or no ban. Nothing in between. Make up your mind please

Only fullish public will use costliest generator alternative energy when our regular supply is there all for 24 hours. Govt. should not waist hard earned public money on adviertisments as 24 hours supply all world over including Delhi rather should devise some effitive measures to curb pollution. I am running Deep Freze Industry in Delhi. No power no Freezing .All public consumpion item are supoiled / not fit for human consumption/ becomes POISNOUS or are waist.How can industry survive in Delhi in such RESTRICTIONS. D.K.Puri more

Major cause of bad air is stuble burning which the sons of the soil burn at onset of night. Rules are not enforcable on these guys who also make jaggery from the remains of crushed sugarcane. Then there are people on the roads and footpaths burning tyres and all possible murky fuel to keep warm. Police turns blind eye to these perceived as minor or no offence at all. The CM of Delhi wants his presence felt and so repeats the futile odd even only in the basking glory of cheap subsidized electricity which of course will be made up from alternate channels of sucking money from public. Not just DG sets ban be withdrawn but also SCRAP the ODD EVEN scheme. more

The govt., the authorities, the ministers, and even the pradhan sevak who are supposed to guide the nation and the people of the nation for improved amenities, facilities.Instead without providing any alternatives to any problem, they are simply making lives more difficult.They are practically no vision, no capability and are totally incompetent to guide the nation.They are sitting fools of the highest order. Since 2014 India has been systematically destructed and destroyed in all fields. The govt, has demolished our economy thru note ban, destructed the business thru lunatic decision to implement GST, ruining our entire higher education system that required more impetus, total lack of vision to guide our economy, converted the media to godi media, taming of even the top judiciary, etc.etc. .Where as very simple and effective solutions are available and can be implemented that could boost everything. The worst part is people have just stopped questioning the authority and no law coming to the rescue of such people who dare to ask uncomfortable questions. more
