DHBVN and UHBVN
While DHBVN has been found to be violating the tariff structure for supply of electricity to their consumers, I am yet not sure as to whether UHBVN also deceiving the consumers by violating the tariff structure as per Electricity Act, 2003.
I seek confirmation from consumers of UHBVN as to what is the slab rate being charged by UHBVN in the slab of first 0-150 units per month from the consumers whose monthly consumption does not exceed 800 units. If some one can post a scan copy of the electricity bill, that would help me in taking up the issue with the regulator appropriately.
I have already taken up issue with the Regulator as far as DHBVN is concerned and as a codal formality requested DHBVN to refund the excess amount charged since 1st April 2020 onwards. The excess amount on an average comes to Rs. 600/ plus taxes per billing cycle of two months from 1st April 2020 onwards.
The members of this circle may kindly provide their input to the issue. I am also planning to take up the issue with the State Commission/ High Court if required and may need the services of an advocate. more

" 1} WHAT ABOUT THE EARLIER TIMES WHEN SMOOTHLY CITIZENS WERE BEING DECEIVED? 2}HAS THE CM OR THE DEPUTY CM AND THE POWER-RELATED MINISTER ANY VIEW ON THE SUBJECT ? 3} IS IT LIKELY THAT OUR DHBVN IS FOLLOWING ANOTHER SIMILAR AGENCY AND GETTING AWAY WITH LACS AND CRORES OF RUPEES EVERY 2 MONTHS ? 4} CAN A STATE-SUPPORTED SYSTEM GET TO BE THAT DECEPTIVE AND GET AWAY WITH IT ? 5} SURELY AN HONOURABLE ADVOCATE CAN TAKE UP THE ISSUES INVOLVED ON AN ISSUE OF THIS NATURE....WOULD LOCALCIRCLES HAVE ANY VIEWPOINT/S ??????? more

Support has to come from the members. I am well aware that such deception by DISCOMs in Haryana is to all the consumers estimated at 55 lakhs households but still hardly 2 to 3 members have commented. more
