DHBVN working

The latest DHBVN electricity bill for Dec-Jan period has been received by me on 30th Jan '17. The last date for payment is 31st Jan. Bill issue date is Jan 19. Will the DHBVN officials explain why they took 10 days to deliver the bill but gave only 1 day to make payment ? Why are customers being forced to leave everything and rush to payment counters, stand in long queues for hours to catch up with the last date ? more

Thanks Gaurav. I know I can pay online. But going by the track record of DHBVN, I am not sure. It may happen that they send me a double bill saying they never received the payment. Again going by my experience, one can't expect them to see reason or argue with them. First you are asked to settle the bill before they can look into any discrepancy or complaint. No one listens :( more
Sir You can make payment online. There is no need of standing in que On Tue, Jan 31, 2017 at 11:01 PM, Yogesh Chandna < support@localcirclesmail.com> wrote: > more
We had felt that State Electricity Boards once Privatised will be improving their efficiency levels. They Broke the Boards into Three Companies, 1) Mfg, 2) Transmission 3) Distribution & Sale. All THREE BELONGING TO SAME CORPORATE HOUSE BUT 3 separate entities. All three making 10-15% Profits, taking the consumers to RIDE for 30-45% of the Cost (which includes TRANSMISSION LOSSES VIZ ORGANISED AND UNORGANISED THEFTS). There is no Agency to Control This and We Indians have been fooled in the Name of Privatisation. Govt. Companies were Highly Corrupt, and Private Companies, equally corrupt, Inefficient and Looting the Consumers. Who will get us the Justice?????? more
Agreed. They are doing this because through no fault of the customer a late fee has to be paid or risk having your meter removed. Why can they not give 2 weeks before due date or allow a monthly ' budgeting' system whereby one pays a fixed amount every month and bill adjusted against that.
