Rather than recommending medicines, it is advisable for any diabatic to be under total regulated food, good brisk walk in early morning, exercise and yoga. This systemised living will control diabatic. Avacado and other bitter taste vegetables are more advised to eat every day. more
I fully endorse the views expressed by Mr. Manjeet Singh and Prof. Umesh Kumar.. Diabetes is a serious disease and the multiple medicines available in the market response to individual in a specific manner. One medicine may suit one and may not suit the other at all. There are multiple factors. Therefore these medicines are required to be taken under monitoring and supervision of a qualified Dr. I am myself is diabetic and knows how serious it is in affecting various vital organs if not cared and treated under the Dr. supervision. Govt. has been mulling over the idea of stopping as many medicines as possible which are being sold on the counter without the support of a Dr's prescription. Without any offence to Vinitaji, I would also request the members to refrain from raising such issues on the Local Circle. We Indian are typical in suggesting medicines for all type of problems. But as the saying goes "Neem Hakim Khtraye Jaan" more
It is an humble request not to suggest/recommend/endorse any allopathic medicine for diabetes on internet or to people we know. Let it be prescribed by a diabetologist after taking history, and making proper diagnosis, doing tests required for the individual. Pioglitazone is found to cause cancer in bladder. The combination of Metformin, Glimpride and Pioglitazone is in the list of banned fixed dose combinations declared on 10 March 2016 by health ministry. Every pharmaceutical drug has some side effects. These drugs must be taken under supervision of physician who evaluates the overall response and prognosis. The sad part is that these drugs exhibit adverse effects sometimes after 1 to three years. Once again this life style metabolic disorder is not to be treated as common cold. more
Diabetes medicines are to be taken after proper testing of blood for sugar etc. and after consultation with doctors. However those who are already on medicines, the following composition of salts is quite effective. Glimpride-1 or 2 mg, Pigilitazone-15 mg, Metformin-500 mg The above composition is available from many companies. Even the Generic Medicines in above composition are available at much lower cost than branded ones. more
