Diagnostic Tests and charges thereof
I had to undergo three diagnostic tests of Chest x-ray, Ultrasound abdomen and Prostate specific antigen(PSA). On inquiry Apollo Hospital, Secunderabad said charges for them would come to Rs.4,600. The same turned out to be Rs. 1,900 at Vijaya Diagnostic Cenre, SD Road, Secunderabad. While I got the tests done at the latter for obvious reasons, I wonder how there could be so much cost difference--S.N.Rao more

As Dr. Subbarao Kakarla says unnecessary packages the greedy diagnostics centers displays and draws the attention of public with discount s and develop s doubts with their health system.which is otherwise playing with their health issues. more

Regarding diagnostics services in Hyderabad I find lot of difference in the rate list with different organisations.How we can find out standard rates, is there any regulatory mechanism ? I wonder the health department s of state and central are paying deaf ears towards this problem. more
