Recently, I traveled from New Delhi to Mariani 09.10.2014. I found many cockroaches and mouse in First AC. According to pest control company (Central Warehousing Corporation), they have pasted a pest control chit dated 07.10.2014 and valid upto 12.10.2014. In my view, they have not done anything and pests (cockroaches and mouse) are still moving in First AC. Getting money from Railway Department in the name of pest control is waste. Please take care and ask to the company, why it is happening like that. One more thing, the catering staff through the litter from train directly to outside form running train. They should collect all litter and should keep in bag and pass it to next station. So that our Bharat will be Swacch.
In addition to the above the toilet design is not up to the mark. It was good that the train had bio-degradable toilet as well as health faucet. But it also had a tap with a mug tied to a chain. But no one has thought if this is used how the water will go out of the toilet as no out let was provided. Tying the mug with a chain needs to be avoided and the toilet's dry condition always has to be ensured. more
Recently I travelled from Jeypore to Chennai by Jeypore-Chennai Express. the coach was brand new. But for quite a long ditance the coach had lateral movement .It is better track alighnment or coach design is improved sothat the coach moves without any movement either lateral or longitudinal. If this is improved train speed can be increased and running time decreased. more
