Diesel prices will increase costs for citizens and business

Diesel prices are now higher than petrol. This will increase cost of commercial transport and hence fruits veggies essentials and all other goods. Also DG sets are used in various residential societies and all corporate parks.

At a time when people are loosing jobs having Salary cuts and customers not paying, increasing peoples and companies cost of living makes zero sense.

Do note in 84 rupees of petrol or diesel there is 50 rupees of tax. If its not fixed we will have to lockdown for petrol diesel prices reasons.

Members need to raise voice against this. Please share your opinions more

India heavily subsidizes the diesel and petrol any ways. People who pay taxes are already paying for it and pay more when it is taxed more or hike in price again. more
I do agree with Ramesh Ji for boosting Revenue Govt. continuously increasing prices of Petrol and Disel but petition is not a solution. Need to suggest some model fot boosting Revenue, In my opinion persuating more and more citizens for self employment by establishing more and more prodctive unit to increase export & reduce dependency on import. more
Fuel is the basic component for transportation. It is going to increase the prices of Essentials.Govt has to think seriously on this aspect. more
This is the universal system of "give and take". It was always there and shall always be there. On one hand we are delighted to see the government doling out subsidies in lakhs of crores. On the other we cringe at the rise in taxes and prices. Where should we imagine is the money coming from? "We lose some things to gain others", is a universal rule..... more
I believe that Government wants to boost the revenue this year because of a likely Bad Economic Year. We can start a petition saying that the Government should cap various taxes like excise, GST etc. and announce these limits. more
