EPFO is advised to accept the fact that online portal is going to be operated and used by Consultants for most of the member organisations.
three users log-in should be provided as under:

user 1) one who operates the code online. expected to be used by consultant or company's compliance department.

user 2) one who has read only rights and he can sign digitally if he agrees to the document he has viewed. expected to be used by authorised signatory, pay roll section to ensure correctness of data uploaded before approved.

user 3) one who has read only rights and he can make payments. expected to be used by accounts and finance department for downloading reports and making payments after reconciliation.

if this facility is provided by epfo many issues will be reduced and portal will become more user friendly. more

I agree with Shishir Kant that only EMPLOYER and EMPLOYEE should have access to EPF website and no consultants/agents/facilitators should have the access to database. If consultant can do than why cant Employer and Employee can do. more

the whole system is so complicated that ordinary employer face difficulty to run that...otherwise who is ready to waste hard earned money on consultancy more

I have a different view. Inefficiency and non-performance aspects have come in existence in EPFO including CORRUPT practices owing to involvement of facilitators so called consultants. Need is that only Employers and Employees should have access to EPF websitea and no consultants/agents/facilitators should have the access to database. more
