Digiyatra survey is needed

It is surprising that so much public money is wasted on useless innovations.

Consider Digi Yatra line for example: the entire point of Digi Yatra was that people will be able to fast-track the checkins

People gave all the data to a private company (first; massive privacy issue-- no one bothered)

In Airports like Bengaluru, DigiYatra lines are longer than normal lines.

In Goa Airport, we have often seen customers standing clueless on how to use the App. So a guard comes and teaches them.

So the entire objective of saving time went out of the window.

Crores of money down the drain.

India and US have one of the worst Airport security check experiences. If we were really bothered with people saving their time: we would have focused on improving the security check experience. The way Thailand and Dubai have already done.

Please share your digiyatra experience and views more

digi yatra apps best of airport entry time without painfull entry i have used this app my travel plan last years 08th october 2024 of going to from delhi to ahmedabad yatra. more
I have suggested them several changes in their present system as it is not workable in present scenario. I am not using it. highly educated peoples forget the ground work , goes only on presentation. that's why it is happening & it is the result. more
At the beginning, such hassles are to be expected. There are many people who need help to use DY. Better that a desk be opened at the airports to help these people and save time for all those who are successful. Furthermore, now airlines are AUTOMATICALLY entering the Boarding pass in your DY, if you have registered in DY. Its not such a big problem but a big saving of time and effort more
yes even though it is beneficial but implementation and ruggedness is missing more
As a product, it is wonderful. The issue is that it does not work many times. Further, the service is only available at select airports across India. There is no point having individual(s) manning a Digiyatra entry gate and doing a manual check. The product was launched more than a year ago and one cannot brush it away as a teething problem. Is someone undermining Digiyatra and making it unsuccessful? Officials should be made responsbile and accountable to ensure that the service works smoothly. There are rumours that security agencies and airport operators are nixing it as they foresee manpower reduction due to Digiyatra. more
