dinner at cyber hub
Went to cyber hub on 18th night with family. I parked my car outside as the parking was full. And loads of other car were also parked so it was not risky. While returning I found my car intact. But as soon as we all settled down there was one man who came to my side of car n asked 50 bucks for parking. I inquired what for. Is this an authorised parking. He said yes. I asked for parking slip. He gave me parking slip of building no 4 of dlf. Near my car one ACP delhi police car was also parked and one pcr of delhi police was also parked. I took that slip to the security officer of ACP and asked if they are on duty there they denied. So I came back and argued with the parking wala why to issue a parking slip of building no 4. Outside cyber hub. They seems to be completely drunk as almost 4 of them gathered meanwhile. As I was near that ACP car they called me abt 100 meters away. Which I denied. They even threatened me and told me aage se yahaan laga kar dhikaayoyo. As I was also firm and reverted back with the same tone and took my car from that side only without paying anything. This is an serious issue which must be looked after by gurgaon police and security for common person must be provided there and patrol cars must be stationed there as almost 1000s of car are parked there on weekends. The way those people threatened me was scary. And with family I didn't wanted to be in a brawl, the firmness showed them that I am not an easy bait. God knows how much they have earned wih this unauthorised parking money. more

Its very unfortunate that after so many incidents and complaints there is no check by the responsible civic bodies. But I also suggest with family be little bit careful. Can't we get the list of these authorized parking vendors across Gurgaon from the Municipal Corp?? more

This a regular racket going on in Gurgaon. And it is happening so brazenly, the cops have to be on the take for it. In many places, so called parking contractors have occupied empty privately owned plots of land and have been charging for parking on these. The most apparent one is next to Galleria. There are some "Huda contracted" parking lots which are nothing but un-levelled pieces of ground. During rains, these get water logged making it impossible to park or get out. And for this service, citizens are asked to shell out Rs.20 or higher, ie almost twice the rates in Delhi. more

@ Anil Sehgal i definitely would have done it if my family would not have been there with me and have posted on gurgaon traffic police FB page and got the response to send the mail on their mail id which also has been done . more
