Direct dissemination of info

I really like the way Railways directly shares information even ahead of news papers and news websites who some times manufacture news when there isn't any.

Even though this news was not in citizen interest as we want 50% refund on tatkal and wait list going away it is better to be honest and issue clarifications when rumor is on.

One additional note is that it will still be useful to have every GM and DRM be in circle so they also know what ppl are saying. more

I QUITE AGREE TO AM.IT MISHRAS VIEWS AND WOULD LIKE TO ADD THAT TO MAKE PEOPLE CLEANLINESS CONSCIOUS THERE SHOULD   BE FINES IMPOSED ON THOSE WHO DO NOT CARE TO KEEP THE COMPARTMENT NEAT N CLEAN. Fines SHOULD BE COLLECTED THEN N THERE LIKE THE ONES IN THE ROAD VIOLATIONS  TO BE KIND ONE HAS TO BE CRUEL.   Giridhar Mohan Aga Sent from Samsung Mobile -------- Original message -------- From: Amit Mishra Date: 24/06/2016 09:58 (GMT+05:30) To: giridharaga1@gmail.com Subject: New post "Direct dissemination of i..." in [Make Railways Better] Find this email inappropriate - Unsubscribe LocalCircles is now available on iOS and Android. First we should have proper garbage collection system in railways/trains before we can think of imposing penalty for which there are no options available. more
That there is an overall awareness for 'clean India' is an undeniable fact. Railways have improved a lot. Yesterday I travelled by a sl class and found that almost all public utilities have steel mugs with chain.Train is Hyd Exp from Chennai. Chennai platforms are stinking as usual. Road adjecent to Centarl leading to Basin Bridge is horrible. I believe the TN Govt does not care for 'Swatch Bharath' as they consider themselves as "tani Tamilnadus'. Many stations in AP & Telengana have very much improved in as much as there is no stink due regular cleaning of the rial roads between platforms. Good work SC Rly more
Mr.Sayed , Why are you b lemming Railways only ? What about the PSU BANKS and other Gov Organizations.Do people give their best? The main reasons are 1. Job security 2.Organized Unionism more
I totally agree with Amit Mishra ji, the Ministry of Railways are the best in responding to public suggestions. However, it will not be fair to directly involve DRM in social media. For last more than one year, there has good response from Railways. Let us limit our interaction to THINK TANK of Railways only. There will be thousands of individual issues. Well, such individual issues should be discussed on social media. There are grievance redressal channels for individual cases. NO, I am not in favour of DRM interacting on social media. DRM is an executive. He is not a policy maker. Off-course DRM office should respond to specific cases, but not on social media. more
Very good suggestion in drawing GMs and DRMs in the circle. At least we will get the message from horse's mouth. more
