Discounts on Shatabdiws

Railways is saying that now we will get discounts on trains with monthly occupancy of less than 50% in the previous year and the discount will be given on the base fare of trains with AC chair car and executive chair car seats.

Can Railways publish a list by train number of trains where this is applicable.

Officials should not release half information as it confuses common people. more

Why why they are not stopping avoidable uncalled for expenses like FREE TICKETS to MPs, Railway employees who can very well afford them. They must also look at number of employees in different departments few of which are likely to be overstaffed as usual. There is real scope there. First put efforts there, make Railway an efficient organisation and then we will pay fares as demanded. more
On your train ticket railways gives a message that 43% of your ticket price is being paid by common man. A message that railways ticket is subsidised. Railways must inform the public how this figure of 43% has been arrived at. more
Thru Local Circle I request Railways to publish the list of trains where discounts are available due to less occupancy in last year. Train Nos, period for which discounts will be applicable, and class and % of discount. All such information must be put in public domain. A political statement is always confusing and meaningless..... more
Railways has been acting autocratically , they introduce scemes at their will and publicise , but remove it without a word. *Most of the Premiun trains were introduced not on the utility for the citizens and tax payers ; *nor in consltation with Railway Travellers Associations . THEN HOW CAN THE RAILWAYS RUN TRAINS PROFITABLY ? more
The data given will be manipulated. How can we look upto people expected to reach their fiscal targets, to give us data that could lead to less income for their divisions. The list will contain least popular trains, running at odd hours. more
