display system on train coaches
Sir I want to draw attention on the display of Train No. and name on the train coaches
1. sign boards on coaches are too small. Train No. displayed on this is written in very small letters as it not readable easily by anyone. Changing plateform on some of the stations at the eleventh hour just minuts before the arrival of the train is a routine practice as I have seen on Jhansi and Kanpur stations always, there may be more stations. I have seen senior citizens, young age ladies travelling alone, students studiying away from home but have to travel home frequently often seen asking fellow passangers " will this train is this and go to this desination...!" and train starts running. Railway never botherd about it, Why.
2. Name of the train rarely displayed on every coach, Why. Size of the coach too big but the display is too small. Can we improve it for the comman and for the people who are unfamilier to railway system.
3. Name as displayed on stations and on railway websites should be on coaches also.
4. Train No. shuld be big enough on each coach to be easily seen and read from distance by comman men. more

I personaly aprricate our Railway ministers hard word , in the tenur of Modi govt and free hands for all public grivance and aminity as well fast devlopment . There is strong need of mindset change as well advance training of railway workforce from top to bottom . If all will come with foresighted ,the day is not away all todays amenitease and fast trains ,eassy access and all we need will be with us at any required time. more

I totaaly agree with Mr.Sudhanshu Jain regarding display system on train coaches and also Mr.Tiru Narayan regarding the announcements that the Announcers must be trained to speak clearly, slowly, deliberately, in a level voice, and not shout out. more

I agree with Sri. Devendra Raina regarding the civic sense. May be education will lift the civic sense! Some of the Railways issues are not just in vacuum; other aspects of the society also must be improved to achieve reasonable solutions. I agree Railways can try to certain extent to improve, but it alone cannot do it. more

Suresh Prabhu is a fellow IITian and I expect him to do great things for Railways.First and foremost if the public at large is not co operative,understanding ,nothing can be achieved.People are so careless about using the platforms and other facilities that whatever hard work the Railways put in it is negated by lack of general civic sense. However the RAILWAYS need to take a huge step in cleaning up the platforms,tracks and the surroundings.Most of them are stinking and if this is achieved 60% of the job is done more
